These terms govern your use of BloomSignal. By creating an account, you agree to them. We've tried to write them plainly — if something is unclear, just ask.
BloomSignal is a weather-based gardening notification service. We send you emails when local weather conditions match signals you've subscribed to — things like frost warnings, planting windows, and heavy rain delays. We are not a professional agricultural service and our alerts are not a substitute for your own judgment.
BloomSignal offers a free tier (1 signal) and a paid Gardener plan (all 11 signals, billed annually at $19.99/year via Stripe).
BloomSignal provides weather-based notifications as a convenience tool. To the fullest extent permitted by law:
Garden conditions vary — soil type, microclimate, plant variety, and timing all affect outcomes. BloomSignal is one input, not a guarantee.
We do our best to send timely, accurate alerts based on weather data from OpenWeatherMap. That said:
Gardening involves real variables — soil, microclimates, plant variety — that no app can fully account for. Use our alerts as one input, not the only one.
You agree not to:
You can delete your account at any time from your profile settings. Deletion removes your user record, signal subscriptions, and associated data. This action is permanent and cannot be undone.
We may update BloomSignal, change pricing, or add or remove signals over time. We'll give you reasonable notice of material changes. If you don't agree with a change, you can cancel your account.
If we update these terms in a meaningful way, we'll notify you by email. Continued use of BloomSignal after that constitutes acceptance.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Rhode Island, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Rhode Island.
If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining terms will continue in full force and effect.
